I recently had a laugh with a product I bought from Amazon. The warranty card? It hilariously directed me to 'gamil.com' instead of 'gmail.com'! 😒 Yet? 😂 I do this all the time myself.

This got me thinking about trust in our digital world. We all lean on giants like Apple, Google, or Microsoft with our data without a second thought. Big names, big trust, right? But what about the underdogs? 🤔

In my quest for the perfect digital tool to store notes, docs, and photos, I explored Notion, MS Loop, Joplin, Obsidian, and more. It took me ages to thoroughly vet each one. I finally settled on Standard Notes. A great find, with a strong community to boot.

Here's the thing – what if Standard Notes, or any similar app, had a typo like my warranty card? Would my trust in them waver? They didn't, to be clear, but it raises a question. Would I have ended up choosing them? Maybe, but I might have spent even longer digging deeper, just to be sure.
